Tara Hill 

Tara Hill is a dominant feature of the district. It boasts the most fantastic views. Tara Hill (833 feet) is over 400 million years old and was formed from molten rock.  From the top of the hill you can see Gorey and there are excellent views of the coast. If you’re feeling active, Tara Hill offers an enjoyable walk among the trees and if you are lucky you might see a squirrel or even an owl.

Kia Ora Mini Farm

Kia Ora Mini Farm: Very exciting farm which allows children to hold and feed a variety of animals such as puppies, rabbits, poultry, sheep, the pot bellied pig, donkeys, sheep, lama’s, goats amongst many others. Ballyellen equestrian centre boasts a top class cross-country course, new indoor area and 2 outdoor floodlit arenas, by far the best facilities in the area. The experienced staff offers lessons for the advanced, novice and complete beginner. They run regular pony camps during the summer months which have proven very popular with our caravan park residents.

Gorey Town

Gorey Town the welcoming country town of Gorey offers a selection of shops to suit everyone; from fashion boutiques, designer outlets, book shops, hair and beauty salons, to florists, jewelers restaurants and cafes. Gorey also boasts one of the largest Tesco stores in the country so is well worth a visit. It also has a shopping centre and cinema (movies at Gorey). Why not experience the true country atmosphere in Gorey Farmers market. It is a great way to spend a Saturday morning. The market is always buzzing and there is always a friendly atmosphere with plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, cakes, farmhouse cheeses, and home-baked treats.

Arklow Town

Arklow Town is an attractive lively town in the South of Co. Wicklow. Once a very busy fishing village, Arklow port still boasts a sizeable fleet of fishing boats. It has an attractive main street with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in addition to a charming riverside walk. Arklow also offers the popular Bridgewater shopping centre with GCG cinema.
